Our PRIME Methodology

Our e-business services are delivered using our in-house developed PRIME methodology. Our approach in identifying customer problems and reaching solutions through a consistent use of PRIME allows us to focus on key customer needs and address them effectively and efficiently.

Prepare

Whether you are planning to implement a simple corporate web site or a complex, fully integrated e-business solution, chances are your project will fail if you don't take the time to develop a plan. Our Prepare suite of services are all about helping you make the critical, up front decisions that will have the greatest impact on the success of your project.

At Interstrata, we understand that companies don't want to spend large amounts of money to conduct the analysis, only to find that the e-business initiative doesn't make sense for them. That's why we developed our Prepare services to be scalable in terms of both price and scope, making the Planning phase of the implementation within reach of even the most price sensitive customers. The services are broken down into small, inexpensive elements with each element being a prerequisite for the next. The three Planning elements consist of a Discovery Workshop, an Opportunity Assessment and e-business Planning.

Recruit

Recruit services provide you with the assistance you may need after the Prepare services have been completed and you've made a decision to proceed with your e-Business initiative. Through the Recruit services, we will with our partners and will assist you in defining and selecting the best technical alternative to implement your e-Business solution. In this stage of implementation, we will act as your advocate in dealings with potential vendors.

We will develop a "Request for Proposal/Requirements Document" on your behalf for the purpose of securing firm price quotations from other vendors. We will also make recommendations regarding the list of vendors that will be asked to submit proposals and then manage those vendors throughout the proposal process. After all proposals have been received we will assess the responses and make recommendations on which vendor should be selected to implement your e-Business solution. Once the vendor has been formally selected, we can also provide the technical support required to ensure successful contract negotiations.

Implement

You've done the analysis and you know you need to implement your Web Application. Whether it be to enhance your Web functionality to improve your Customer Relationships or Corporate Productivity, the solution will not achieve the desired objectives if your intended users don't use it. The technology is great, but on its own it's not enough. Any successful implementation must take into account not only the technology, it must also consider the associated Process and People issues. What are the Policies and Procedures that must be established with your new Enterprise Application? What are the training requirements for the people that will be using it? These are the types of questions we answer in our Implementation suite of services.

Measure

We want to be your strategic partner. That means we stick with you after the e-business solution has been implemented. We work closely with both your designated staff and the chosen system vendor to continuously monitor the performance of the e-business solution so that we can assess the extent to which the solution is achieving the business objectives as stated at the beginning of the project.

We will:

  • measure the performance of the solution relative to the business metrics associated with the project.
  • assess the financial and strategic impact of the solution on the business.
  • validate the initial business case and strategic assumptions and objectives.

Enhance

A successful e-Business solution requires a commitment to continually evolve and enhance the solution to meet the ever changing demands of the user community. Interstrata's Enhance service provides customers with skills and resources necessary to perform this critical function.

The outcome of the Measure service is a series of data that provides insight into system performance. We use this information to make recommendations on possible changes that address new customer demands as well as any potential shortcomings. If necessary, we will also conduct user and executive interviews to identify other areas for improvement that are not easily detectable through system measurements.
