Account Executive
After 8 years of steady growth and consistent client base, we are quite excited to take our company to the next level. We are looking for an enthusiastic Account Executive with a passion for the Digital World and all the great opportunities that it has to offer for small and large organizations alike. You will use your entrepreneurial drive, solution sales mindset, innovative thinking and exceptional customer relationship skills to expand our market reach, acquire new customers and extend our capabilities.

What You will do
New Business Development:
- Identifying, pursuing and nurturing of leads and partnerships.
- Develop and implement a prospecting/lead generation strategy that will ensure a continuous supply of potential customers for follow up meetings and presentations
- Identify opportunities across verticals and markets in Canada (primary) and the US (secondary)
- Identify, assess, and qualify RFP, RFQ opportunities
- Identify and assess prospect needs and respond to those needs through the development and implementation of a product strategy.
- Create sales proposals and negotiate within a prescribed range to achieve sales.
- Management of pitch preparation and presentations
- Identify new sales opportunities by attending and participating at industry tradeshows and conferences.
- Manage all aspects of the customer relationship by acting as the primary contact for all non-operational customer issues.
- Establish and act as a thought leader in the industry by being actively engaged with prospects, clients, and industry peers through Social and Email tactics and initiatives.
What you will bring
The ideal candidate will have at least 7 years of sales experience paired with post-secondary education. We are looking for someone with a demonstrated ability to drive sales. To succeed in this role, you should possess:
- Strong understanding of internet marketing tactics, including: email, search, analytics, web development, e-commerce, social networking, and other online marketing tactics.
- Strong probing skills and understanding of large organizations and their decision making processes
- Strong communication, analytical, interpersonal, decision-making and time management skills.
- The ability to work well under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
- Field sales experience in a business-to-business environment with existing contact base.
- Proven track record in cold calling, sales prospecting and appointment setting.
- Understanding of sales pipeline and ability to work to targets
- Attention to detail
- Excellent oral and written communications skills
- Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, email and use of the internet.
